Network for Good Launches its 2015 #GivingTuesday™ Campaign to Support Charities in Year-End Fundraising

Fundraising software provider offers tools, webinars and trainings to nonprofits free of charge

WASHINGTON, DC – Sept. 21, 2015 – Network for Good, a nonprofit-owned B Corporation that provides fundraising software and coaching for nonprofits, today launches its 2015 #GivingTuesday™ campaign, featuring tools, webinars, training and donor incentives to support charities in year-end fundraising.

Network for Good’s All TUEgether campaign runs through midnight on Dec. 1, which is this year’s #GivingTuesday, an global day of giving held annually since 2012 on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. In addition to downloadable resources and live webinars available to all nonprofits, Network for Good’s customers will be eligible for matching sponsor dollars and challenge prizes. Network for Good’s campaign features free-of-charge downloadable guides such as Top Essentials for a Winning #GivingTuesday: Nine essentials to help you plan and launch your 2015 campaign, and webinars such as Nonprofit 911: Rock Your #GivingTuesday Campaign With Facebook Ads, led by digital marketing expert John Haydon. Additional guides and webinars will be announced during the campaign through Network for Good’s weekly #GivingTuesday email newsletter.

Network for Good will offer matching funds and challenge prizes to eligible nonprofits using its donation platform. Any donation made on Dec. 1 to a nonprofit customer through Network for Good’s online platform will be matched by sponsor dollars. Network for Good has committed $100,000 in matching dollars; other corporate sponsors may join as the campaign unfolds.

In addition, customers will be eligible for challenge prizes – special grants to nonprofits in categories such as “most dollars raised,” “most donors,” and “most recurring donors on #GivingTuesday.”

Other #GivingTuesday customer-exclusive resources include:

  • Content: Premium guides, client-only webinars, e-mail templates and checklists
  • Expert one-on-one coaching: From donation pages to year-end appeals, customers can get personalized feedback and best practices from our team of fundraising experts
  • Visibility to new donors: Customers will be featured on the Network for Good #GivingTuesday website, where donors can search by charity name, location or keyword to link directly to an online donation form
  • #GivingTuesday day-of spotlight: On #GivingTuesday, customers will be showcased on the website to monitor their accomplishments and inspire their donors to give and give more

In 2014, nearly 13,000 nonprofits took advantage of Network for Good’s free and customer-exclusive resources in the months leading up to #GivingTuesday, including expert guidance and online donation software. On #GivingTuesday last year, which was Dec. 2, 2014, Network for Good’s platforms processed more than $4.5 million in donations, a 146-percent increase over the previous year. Clients with Network for Good’s branded giving pages raised on average 138 percent more than nonprofits with a generic interface. Matching funds in 2014 totaled $125,000.
