Network for Good Gives Back to YOU on #GivingTuesday

Let’s get this party started! November 28 is the Big Event for nonprofits around the world: #GivingTuesday, or as we like to think of it, the kick-off to year-end fundraising.

Held every year during the week after Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday is when we open our hearts and wallets for the benefit of those in need. The 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation launched the event in response to the growing commercialism of the holiday season (think: Black Friday and Cyber Monday). #GivingTuesday is fueled by the power of social media and leverages the ease of online giving. Many people also give the gift of time to volunteer in their communities during the day.

It’s clear that donors are really feeling the love on #GivingTuesday. In 2016, they joined together to raise $177 million online during this one-day event. This year’s event is poised for an even more incredible result.

Network for Good makes #GivingTuesday easy, even if your nonprofit is trying it for the first time. You’ll find all the tools, tech, and team you need to run a great campaign, from tips, templates, and planners to branded fundraising pages to your very own expert coach who understands your organization’s specific needs and can guide you to success.

And we know this stuff works: Last year, more than 7,500 Network for Good customers raised an average of $1,575 on #GivingTuesday versus just $645 for nonprofits that didn’t use fundraising software. And those results keep rolling in through December 31. Nonprofits that kicked off year-end with #GivingTuesday last year raised an average of five times more than those that sat on the sidelines. Check out the infographic below that tells the whole story:

Need a little #GivingTuesday boost? How does winning some extra cash sound?

Of course, we think all of our customers are winners, but this year, Network for Good is adding a little #GivingTuesday competition with cash awards throughout the day. It’s a great way to motivate both your team and your donors.

You’ve got this. And as always, we’ve got your back. Have an awesome #GivingTuesday!
