Q&A with Trevor Brown, Fundraising Sales Consultant

What do you do at Network for Good?

My role at Network for Good is to learn more about small and medium-sized nonprofits to determine whether they could functionally benefit from having our Donor Management System in place.

What is your experience with nonprofit organizations outside of Network for Good?

I have been involved with the Junior Achievement, many animal shelters, and a few long-term care facilities. My recent interests have me giving back to my local community in Baltimore, MD.

What attracts you to nonprofits? 

Being a former entrepreneur myself, I love speaking with individuals to uncover their why. Why would you leave an outstanding job to start a nonprofit and not pay yourself? Something in that question moves me and I want to make it possible for them to get their small nonprofit off the ground and position themselves for a sustainable future.

What do you enjoy most about your work? 

Network for Good allows me the unlimited opportunity to help nonprofits in a very direct way. Learning the different stories of our customers reminds me of just how important our work here is!

What do you enjoy doing outside work? 

My passion outside of work lies in the outdoors. I love boating, jet-skiing, fishing, etc… Anything to do with water and good weather, I’m there!
